Golfer Tiger Woods kept his high standing despite sensational reports of his extra-marital affairs, maintaining the number 5 position and raking in $105 million even after taking a six-month break from the game.

New York entertainer Lady Gaga at number 4 was the list's highest-ranked newcomer and earned $62 million last year.

Director James Cameron

Director James Cameron came in at number 3 this year. Thanks to his hugely successful 3D movie Avatar, which made $2.7 billion - making it the highest-grossing film ever.

Beyonce Knowles

Hot on her heels, singer Beyonce Knowles, 28, who climbed two spots this year to No. 2, raking in $87 million this year. Her global tour alone grossed more than $85 million from 90-plus concerts.
